Robert B. Knudsen

Robert Knudsen is a shareholder at Beard St. Clair Gaffney, and a member of the firm’s litigation team. Robert was born in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and raised in Southern Utah. Robert has been admitted to practice law in Idaho and Utah, and his practice focuses on the areas of medical malpractice, commercial litigation, business litigation, and real estate litigation.

In addition to graduating cum laude from the University of Nevada Las Vegas Boyd School of Law, Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). He also holds an active Registered Nurse (RN) license, and worked in the medical field as a nurse in Las Vegas for nearly six years prior to and during law school. In the area of medical malpractice, due to Robert’s extensive medical background and experience, he is able to dissect the medical records and provide his clients with a distinct competitive edge over opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes in complex medical disputes.

Robert is passionate about advocating for his clients, and takes pride in practicing law ethically and with integrity. Robert is a highly skilled researcher and writer, with other shareholders in the firm regularly asking for Robert’s assistance with drafting Court briefs.

Robert is married and has three children. Robert has been a lifelong fan of the Portland Trail Blazers and loves attending games with his family.
